Trail Runner Free Ultra is a comfortable and lightweight headlamp for everyone who loves to run. Its characteristics and light beam are optimized for the needs of a runner. Trail Runner Free Ultra comes with a 4.0 Ah rechargeable battery as well as the Hybrid Battery Case.

In this fifth generation of our original running headlamp, we introduce a new type of technology where the power cord is integrated into the headband. We call it free technology: a comfortable headlamp experience without distracting wires or tangled wires. No fuss - just release the energy.

Hybrid battery box included
The Hybrid Battery Case can hold the Silva Hybrid Rechargeable Battery Pack or 3 AAA batteries (not included). This means you can use AAA batteries as a backup if you run out of power. The case has easy-grip surfaces and has an integrated red rear safety light, adding extra visibility.

Long distance battery included
In addition to the hybrid battery case that gives you multiple battery options, the Trail Runner Free Ultra comes with a long-lasting, rechargeable 4.0 Ah battery pack that fits neatly into a multi-accessory soft case. The 4.0 Ah battery is perfect for extended run time on those longer running sessions. The battery has a 4-step battery indication and can be charged anywhere, using the included USB cable.

Customized light distribution
The Trail Runner Free series is made for running in every way. All three headlights feature Silva Intelligent Light. This means you get dual beam technology in your headlamp, with light settings that are perfect for running. Our unique combination of a long range spotlight and a close flood light results in less head movement, better control, better balance, less fatigue, and increased speed.

Comfort in every detail
Despite the focus on technological advances, we have not forgotten the importance of weight optimization. Each part of the headlamp has been compressed and the unit only weighs 55 grams (without batteries). Even when using the 4.0 Ah long-distance battery, included with the Trail Runner Free Ultra, the entire headlamp still weighs just 141 grams. The headlamp is perfectly balanced, with smooth adjustments and a soft, flat textile extension cable that won't tangle. The headband is soft, yet firm enough, with a silicone cord inside to stay in place. The battery pack can be conveniently carried on the headband or kept warm in your pocket to extend battery life using the included extension cable.

Choose the Trail Runner Free Ultra if you want to go on really long sessions with the 4.0 Ah long-distance battery. With Free Ultra you also get the hybrid battery case that can be used with 3 AAA batteries or supplemented with a hybrid battery (1.25 Ah).
